For those about to walk (we salute you)

Our man is walking. He's teased us with a few steps here and there for the past two weeks, but finally on March 11, he put it all together and began to walk multiple steps at a time. He's slow, but steady. We'll post some video very soon, I promise.

Happy Birthday, Abraham!

All of the cliches about "they grow up so fast" are coming true. Abe turned ONE year-old on January 21. He is a wonderful little boy and we love him so (despite the fact that we still don't sleep more than 6 hours a night). We send thanks to his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins for the gifts and for helping us through our first year as parents. Below are some photos from the

Abe's first Christmas is only a few days away...

As thankful as you can get

Abe's first Thanksgiving was a full day of family, food and football (and more food). The Cobbs' were gracious hosts and all of the ladies lived up to their reputations as master chefs. Abe had some mashed potatoes, his first taste of turkey and some veggies.

We are most thankful for our happy and healthy little boy.

10 Months old today

Abe is 10 months old today. It's amazing to think that his first birthday is right around the corner. To celebrate his day and in an effort to enjoy the beautiful weather today, we went to Inniswood Metro Garden this afternoon. It was our first visit to this park and it was wonderful. Abe was very interested and was all smiles the entire time. We even saw an albino squirrel...

The fresh Autumn air...

Some crisp Autumn air will do a boy some good. The beginning of November was a rough one for our young hero. He suffered through a fever of 103 that lasted for 5 days, in combination with a nasty cough and the final throes of a teething episode. He has us worried for a while but he snapped back and has returned to his vibrant self. He's crawling at a quick pace, and can pull himself to a standing position. The baby-proofing of the house has begun!
